The employee lifecycle was not fully automated. Despite using the state of the art HR software already, a need for a more advanced system was constantly felt.
Onboarding and offboarding were quite painstaking. Be it triggering checklists or generating a letter, everything was done manually or via emails making the need to upgrade more urgent.
Time stamping wasn’t fully automated as it was partially mapped with biometrics and partly managed through spreadsheets.
The entire recruitment procedure involved manual intervention from sourcing, screening to shortlisting which consumed unnecessary time and efforts
