TNA or Training Need Analysis is the process of ascertaining the gap between the training and the needs of training. TNA is the first stage in the process of training. It involves a series of steps that reveal whether training will be able to solve the problem or not.

The training need analysis is divided into three levels which are organisational, operational and individual.
