Define Leave types
Based on employee grades and multiple other factors, there are different leave policies in every company. Before doing the same, you can create a master of leave types in HROne while defining which ones are encashable and which ones aren’t.
Create leave policy
Once you create master leaves, you can set the leave policy with multiple combinations. HROne online leave management is highly configurable.
Update credit leave policy
If the leave engine is already live then leave balance would be credited on the next leave credit date as per the defined policy. Once you initiate, this can’t be disabled.
Opening leave balance
This can be imported once per employee per leave type at the time of implementation. Once the import is done and updated in the system, our leave management software sends an email indicating the imports done successfully and the error sheet, if any.
Auto Credit Scheduler
This is one of the features in HROne employee leave management system software, you can enable it and without having you to do anything, the leaves would be credited as per the policy.
Change leave balance
If after the import is being done, you want to change the leave balance, you can do that via the HR desk and choose to subtract or add leave.
Short leave

You can specify short leave duration and a lot more when setting the policy. However, unlike leaves, there is no such concept like balance credited or carry forwarded to next month for short leaves.
